I really feel for Crystal, she is stuck between a rock and a brick wall, I hope Danni can keep her safe. This was another good read, Carol. I'm on the catchup after a few days off FS, but I'm enjoying that. Well done,
cheers

I am so far behind on reviews as I try to finish this story within the deadline and enjoy being with my granddaughters. I have faithfully read and greatly appreciated each review. I am thankful for all the time, comments, and reviews everyone has given to my story. There is no way I can catch up on almost 250 reviews, so please accept my thanks and know that I truly appreciate that you have stuck with me throughout the story. Thank you.
Smiles and hugs, Carol

We are getting closer to solving this. Your pace and story telling are as always up to par. I'm so behind with everything and trying to catching up. I love this story, Carol. Ulla xcx

Good morning! Thanks for enjoying the story. I appreciate your time and kindness. Writing a novel in a month is becoming a "hectic" chore. (Especially with holidays and a vacation).
Have a great day!

I hope you have plans to take out Rossi in a slow and painful way, preferably involving his testicles. I hate bullies.
Pure genius: undercover invisible ghost. It's like an answer to life's quest: oh, to be a fly on the wall!
One suggestion:
"I don't know, but I hope Danni can get some answers. I *just* don't know how long I can *just* sit and wait."
(Remove one 'just')
Another great chapter done!

Can we arrest these morons for misogyny? Geesh! They're like cavemen! Poor Crystal...used and abused. Danni will protect her now.
My favorite line here is:
"Get used to it, boss. She might be a ghost -- but she's a woman, and you always have to wait for them."
Sad but true!

Poor Crystal, being brutalised by someone as big and mean as Bruiser is not funny, but Danni turns up and promises to protect her and get her to safety if she wants to give her something to go on, she produces Donatelli's watch. Meanwhile Donatelli seems safe, beautifully written Carol, , blessings Roy

If she turns state evidence, Donatelli's watch could be good evidence. She'll have a brighter future I am sure.
Smiles, Carol
With the watch and turning State's witness she should have a much brighter future... Especially with Danni looking out for her.

That's great isn't it, her luck's changing

Every law inforcement agency need an eavesdropping ghost that can listen in without being seen. Danna is valuable and has a good heart to want to help the waitress. I'm behind and I may have missed a chapter here and there but I still enjoying the stoory.

Sorry you only rated it a four. Were you disappointed in something? Or have adopted the new ratings some have thought the site required. Regardless, I appreciate the review and your thoughts. Thank you very much.

Well you know if I did that had to be an accident. It deserves a six if I had one. I've made it a five. Always tell me if I do that. When I went to rate it it told me i already had. So the computer is conspiring against me.
-
Thank you, Beth. I thought that was what happened but you know with everyone wanting to give lower scores, I didn't know. I got one from Barbara too but I didn't ask her about it. Guess I felt more comfortable mentioning it to you. Thanks.
-
Well Barbara gave me a four the other day and when I mentioned it, she said it was an accident and changed it. I think you should tell her. Most people were against changing things. You aren't supposed to give a four unless you tell them how they could improve it.
-
If it happens again, I'll mention it. I always feel uncomfortable except for people who I know really like the story. Those people would tell me why they did it. Thanks, Beth.
-
You know you are one of fhe best writers. Your work is always entertaining. I'm sure you wouldn't get a four from anyone.
-
I needed that flattery right now... Been writing all day with everyone gone and suddenly it bothered me to be alone....You made me smile. Thanks

I really don't know how Eleanor's conversation with Jenna is going to pan out, she has already suffered so much I wonder just how much more she can take. I think Eleanor knows just how difficult it's going to be. Another excellent chapter, Carol, I really enjoyed it.

You are a master of details and description. I was spellbound when you described the helicopter landing with paramedics in tactical gear lifting Donatelli onto a stretcher. The stockroom scene and conversation was exceptional as you tied loose ends together. Now that Danni has Crystal who overheard everything, Garth and his team will have all sorts of leads to follow.
Really, this should be on Netflix.

We're one step closer to solving this and Matthew is safe. I can't wait for him to be healed. Good writing.
William gnawed on the inside of his cheek before answering. "He's a lock." (answering,)
