I have read the book you are referring to but I've picked up a lot from what you've written here. Seems like onoing fueds between neighbours in the ghetto went to far and now it's too late. Well done I enjoyed this story in a poem!

    It was never the ghetto until the owner rented to the wrong people 😂.

Slum mentality here Judith, when one does not care it spreads apathy to others. I live in an apartment block of five homes. Two of the occupants, myself and flat 5 care very much about the appearance of the inside public areas and it means it stays clean, tidy and pleasant. I enjoyed your honest post about these slums where people just don't care, love Dolly x x x

    It is terrible isn't it? My building has gone to the dogs so to speak. Of course it's very hard to move because we loved our home for years.

    We have many who disrespect the park and don't pick up the dog poo. But the biggest problem is cigarette butts! Love Dolly x x x

    Oh that is a shame. I'm so happy I gave up smoking Dolly, three years ago. It was a terrible habit.
