What a stately bird! I like your praise of this sentinel bird who sounds the alarm to keep everyone in his clan safe. I have noticed that some birds really know how to sing their alarms! Lovely poem!

Vivid imagery in this Decuain brings the scene to life. What a splendid bird! This is an interesting form; a bit like a foreshortened sonnet. You have followed the rhyme scheme and syllable count well, and there are some interesting variations on iambic rhythm to accentuate particular words and lines. Very nicely done.
