This short poem speaks volumes, Roy. Yesterday has gone, live for today, tomorrow is not yours to own. We tend to forget that a lot. We tend to 'put off today what can be done tomorrow', but that isn't always possible. I like to tell everyone in my family that I love them, I would hate to die without them knowing it. Well done, my friend! Lots of love, Sandra xx

It's short, but it has impact. Live for the moment, because the moment is really all we have. I am reminded of that phrase of God's when he says of the rich man planning his elaborate life, "You fool! Tonight I will require your soul at your hand." estory

The author's words are thought provoking, clear and creative. I pondered
on the words of this poem. And thought about how we only have right
now. I liked the author's notes which I agree with totally. The artwork
is awesome! The poem flows and connects well. Great Poem, Roy!

The theme of the poem is well chosen and apt. In a world where we all live like time belongs to us, constant reminder like this could bring some back to reality. Thanks for sharing your scripture inspired work. Well enjoyed. My regards

Wonderful lines here, Roy!
This is the type of poem I might learn by heart to constantly keep in mind how important the present moment is. It is short and to the point. I like that you share your faith in the comment below the poem.
Keep being a light!

I like this one, Roy! You have such a talent with rhyme and meter. I confess to not understanding the accompanying art, but have to admit I sat here for longer than I intended, trying to figure it out, lol. Thank you for posting this all-too-true sentiment and confusing (if beautiful) art.

Very interesting choice of image for your poem the artist 2Pac, may I ask why you used it, were you a fan? I'm not sure of the whole story I just remember he did tragically get shot.
Your poem has such an important message, about treasuring every hour, every day, we just don't know what is around the corner. Ours lives can turn upside down at any given moment. Beautiful Roy.
Best Wishes
Nicki
