Wonderful! An original take on this prompt and one that I really enjoyed. You showcased your dry humour beautifully here, Jess. My favourite is: A Midsummer Night's Drear. Excellent! Thanks for sharing Debbie

Hamlet? Othello? I can't remember, is "Much ado about nothing" the play where "all the world's a stage" comes from? My favorite character is Yorick from Hamlet. Lifting the spirit of his lord, young prince Hamlet. But me thinks my brain doth get foggy sometimes.

I love a good take on Shakespeare, and this was five great takes on Shakespeare! You did a great job with this one, and your blurbs were fun. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

A super picture to introduce your entry for the contest.
I did watch the movie 'The Taming of the Shrew' to get a good look at Elizabeth Taylor.
Loved your book reports on the five.
Thank you and good luck.

Smartly done. Reminds me of a competition from years ago in Key West. Contestants would choose a Hemingway classic and "adjust" it to our era, with a humorous overtone.
Tried my best to remain focused while watching Woody Allen's, A Midsummer Night's Dream. Failed miserably.

Cheers!

Nice and silly. I myself have never cared for Shakespeare. He may have had his plays printed up and performed early on, that does not make his work good. People did not talk that that as far as I am aware. So, I am not your best bet to rate this stuff.

I thought this piece was really entertaining and I loved the humour side to it as well. It is really hard to imagine the world without Shakespeare, although I have to admit I found his work incredibly boring to learn at school. An excellent piece.

This single-letter change contest submission, From Stages to Pages, grabs some Shakespearean titles and reworks the themes with a different idea about the topic. Funny.

This was really well done. You have shown that a single change of a letter can make a whole lot of difference. I wish you all the best in the contest with this great entry. Ulla:)))

Oh wow, pretty fun to read from the beginning to the end. Your "Shakespearean spins" in "From Stages to Pages" does convey the message to the reader, and I enjoy it. It's pretty convincing and some humor to it too, love it. Congrats, and wish you all the best!
