This is very well written, and it carries such a powerful message to it. At this moment, in time, I am dealing with a young lady who possibly has gone through pretty much the same thing as this woman that you dedicated this poem to. A worthy tribute to an industrious and misunderstood woman, whose complexities you see, even if others do not. I like that you kept some mystique here, not revealing your relation to this woman. And this is mirrored in the choice of image.
The only thing I would suggest changing is increasing the font size, so that older readers can get more easily absorb it.
