First off, your choice of photo is beautiful and complements your poem nicely. I like the 5-9 two line construct of the poem. Only one change I would make is in the last line--if you make the first "not" a "don't", I think it helps the flow. I like this one very much, Patricia.

I so agree with your advice here Patricia, we can only be true to ourselves if we be ourselves. If we are disliked for it then we can't be liked by everyone. Pretentious people are false and we like honest friends, a fine post Patricia, I love your philosophy here, very wide words, love Dolly x
