Good Luck in this Tanka contest went back to sound out unpredictability for syllable count feels right to mr. I would suggest when using polysyllabic words as it makes it so much easier for readers especially those who pronounce words differently. Just a suggestion Thank you for Sharing your poetic work

I'm not that familiar with the Tanka style of poetry so I had to look it up. You matched the syllable quota correctly, the accompanying picture complements the feelings expressed in the poem. I, too, prefer wildflower bouquets. I thought this a very lovely entry for the Spring Tanka. Best Wishes!

I like the originality of this post, celebrating the arrival of spring and all the blooms it brings but adding a layer of poignancy in your preference for healing, that being seeing those flowers growing wild and free as opposed to being trussed up in a bouquet. Perfect presentation to reflect the creative essence of your theme. Well done and good luck! Debbie

Wildflowers, free to bloom everywhere and sway gently with the wind, offering a touch of beauty across the landscape for all of us to share. Beautiful poem!

This is a lovely tanka, combining our natural world with our world of emotions. May I suggest a larger font for easier reading on the vibrant green background. Good luck in the contest.

I adore wild flowers and they once had a bad reputation but that is all changing now as we appreciate those unruly plants that take over our gardens, I enjoyed your tribute, love Dolly x

I like your poem. It seems as though you have been hurt. Flowers are so pretty. They definitely make you feel better. Well written. Great job on this.

I enjoyed the poem. I really liked the part about healing "the deepest hurt of a breaking heart." Your font is a bit small and hard to read, but that doesn't affect how good your poem is. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.
