Nicely met the line and syllable count requirements of the 5-7-5 poem type/contest.
Good personification of opportunity knocking. I do like getting texts, however.

This 5-7-5, Call it Old Fashioned, has the proper formatting and remembers that opportunity only knocks once. Then the e-mails begin and never end. .....................

Many often choose to ignore a knock on the door, although sometimes it's God knocking. I'm a firm believer that we've come to rely too much on technology. Thank you for sharing this contest entry with us. I enjoyed reading and wish you luck with the contest.
