Very few entries for this competition. Even though the video you chose to represent your poem is hard to view, yours stands out above the others. Very good advice as it's such a freak show what some, once beautiful, stars have become. Thanks for posting this.

Freak show is a great word to describe what?s going on in Tinseltown.
After the contest is ended if you don?t mind I will edit my title and put :
Freak Show! ( biggrin)
The committee could have moved forward the deadline .. we were in six but I noticed one was removed.

I can only think it is a mental disease that leads to this. I would much rather look old than intentionally deformed. You hit the internal rhyme and the end rhyme. Best of luck! Enjoy

One that bothered me was Pete Burns, singer for Dead or Alive. He was a good-looking guy, but he must have really loathed himself to do what he did. I will check out vid.

Men are into the Botox and plastic surgery as much as the women.. I?m not acquainted with Pete Burns nor his band .. I will check him out .
Mickey Rourke comes to mind.. despite the botched jobs on his face he still finds roles.. most actresses don?t .
I know he broke his nose boxing a couple of times ( a sport he loves )
He tried to fix his nose with plastic surgery but then went over board.

It really is all hit and miss and not necessarily dependent on the quality of the post, sadly. But I love yours. Nothing like gloating at these pathetic human beings (although equally saddened that they're so often women who've learned nothing from feminism because this isn't empowering)

the need to be always the centre of attraction ..eternally in the limelight.
I saw a few clips of Madonna in tour .. she still dresses up and does the same antics she was doing when in her 30s .. 😳
She ?s over 60 and looks like a fool now on stage. ☹️
It?s plain pathetic.
