a great poem about sadness. Evocative, profound filled with vivid imagery, and packs a punch. I like the black background fits the theme of the poem very well.

I love the image of the tears running down from the eyes. I at first thought this was all the poem was going to be but to my surprise, it was much more than tear-stained eyes but words and lines increasing in saddened emotions until at the end it said the phrase wordless, just like in the title. This is very clever! I love it!

Your poem expresses writer's block extremely well. It's been many years (thank heavens) but I can identify with most of what this poet says, maybe not life without hope or a broken heart (but certainly frustration).
Good luck in the contest -- a marvelous presentation too, by the way. :)

Sometimes that is how it goes, isn't it? When we are over come with grief it is hard to find the world that explain the pain we are feeling on the inside. This is depicted very well in this piece.

Like your poem and image. The image does demonstrate what a person feels like when they have a tear-jerky day. It's easier to have a happy day instead of a sad day. When the sun is not shining, it is a sad day for sure.
