Should "Tell Me Jesus Stories" not be Tell Me The Stories of Jesus?
"Jakes eyes" should be Jake's eye to show he possesses them.
Emma needed to knee Ronnie right in the bazinga like she did.
Seems Jake and Emma are having feelings they are not sure how to handle.

I enjoyed the story. It's religious, true, but you didn't knock us down with it. I have been pulling for Seth since the beginning. There's nothing wrong with abstinence. If it makes a person more comfortable to wait, they should definitely do so. While reading the in-church scene it made me smile. I felt right at home.

Suppose you meant took many breaths. Nice work!

Emma knew how to handle a guy who was trying to force himself on her, but she could have made another enemy. Seth and Emma need to get to the alter soon, or his frustration could grow.

I'm glad Seth and Emma had the conversation that has been the pink elephant in the room. Seth obviously cares very much about Emma and doesn't want to rush to anything. It's a difficult place to be in. But now they both know how to navigate their relationship.

there is quite a bit of detail here, it can be a little hard to stay involved, but it is a good story. It appears that Ronnie needs a little attention from the strong hand of the law. The guy's a world class jerk.

LOL Yes, couples need to talk. How else will anything ever get accomplished. My husband probably thinks I talk too much. He's got after all these years to just accept it. He told one of our sons the other day, that when I'm in a situation where I can't talk, I have to make up for it when I get home. LOL

Excellent dialogue between Seth and Emma again Barbara and I really liked the pace of this chapter. You set the scene really well and their dialogue really brings out the emotions well. Another engaging read.

An excellent chapter that covers a number of issues. You did a good job covering the church service, followed by Emma's announcements and playing her guitar. It seems Ronnie Calhoun is always at the wrong place at the wrong time. Hopefully, there will be an opportunity for someone to do something about his behavior toward Emma.
The middle section is very good as Jake and Seth have a good discussion about personal issues and how to deal with them. That is followed up with Seth and Emma sharing their feelings. It is always a good idea so each understands where the other is coming from.
