Your story moved me. Poor Jolly! To me it's reminiscent of a child going through adolescence It would be interesting to see a follow up. Maybe hearing the Elephants perspective. All in good work! and good luck!

There isn't much anyone can do with such few words and that strange topic, but you did well and should be proud of this post. My only suggestion is perhaps to use an illustration, of a mouse and/or a silly donkey.

The donkey said to Jolly, you are just a mouse, Jolly. I don't get it. What is funny about that?
Maybe the idea that an elephant family raised a mouse for a day is strange and a little bit humorous but the ending lines do not make sense to me.
