People without a soul do these things. As long as people of all stripes from everywhere are not treated with value these things will happen. As long as people worry about having the newest car instead of donating to people who have nothing, this will not change. look at my writing. Bad people get punished and only them. I protect those with less. You are right our writing shows who and what we are. :-) Karen

I'm appalled that in this country there are people who don't believe that using children to satisfy their own perverted sexual desires is wrong. Those who kidnap those children are just as greedy and foul. Sometimes I wish that the law of sowing and reaping was immediate. It would change the way people did things if they knew that the punishment would fit the crime, and that it would be happening sooner rather than later. Too many people have no fear of God because they seem to be getting away with evil acts. They have been lulled into a sense of complacency. The bible clearly states that God is not mocked, whatsoever we sow, that shall we also reap. It's so apparent in nature that this is true. I've mentioned it dozens of times before. You can't plant cabbages and raise cherries. It's just not possible. I so appreciate your time and effort spent reviewing my posts gal. Thanks so much!

A great deal of people hide their heads in the sad because it is sad, or scary, are just plain easier. I sign petitions, write stories, etc. You know that old saying. "All it takes for evil to flourish, is for good people to do nothing." Karen

I agree totally gal. Sometimes I get angry over some news story and will write to my elected officials, but usually, if they write back at all, its some canned generic response. When I was living in Hoonah, I used to write letters to the editor at the Juneau Empire. More people saw my complaint and it sometimes did some good I think. I'm glad you're active and standing for what you believe is right.

I believe I have a good moral center. However, as you have read, I also believe some folks need to be shoved to the top of the retribution list. I think dump the trump set up the shooting himself. He was not worried about being killed by mistake because his delusions are so complete that he believes he can not die. And others being killed instead? Fodder. Karen

I think you're giving him too much credit. I know you don't like him, and I'm not surprised, given the amount of negative attention he gets, but I still think he's at least got the courage to speak to the press, something that Smiley hasn't done yet. Its actually quite scary that she wasn't elected by any kind of process, just inherited the position. I fear that we're losing the process by which we elect our officials, and eventually the two parties will determine who to run with no input from the little people.

We need to continue to voice to voice our opnions as long as we have breath. Whether or not our dearest friends agree. No matter who gets in , as soon as they do, it is our job to back them. People have sorely forgotten that. And, when it comes to things, it is the office of the president I will be supporting, not the holder. :-)

That's patriotic of you gal. Way to go. I just wish that politicians would do what they promise they're going to do when they get to DC. Frankly, I think there should be more of a push for term limits. Two terms max, regardless of how effective they may be. They are too comfortable in Washington DC. I appreciate your honesty gal.

Since you brought it up. I think you should get no more than five years in any elected job. And, I think that as long as we have a major two party system, If we have a democratic president, the next president can't be. And, any legislation or laws the pesident or congress passes cannot be changed or brought down for 100 years. My thoughts.:-)

Well, I agree with at least part of what you're saying gal. I think the hundred year thing would be a mistake. We're changing so rapidly with technology, plus if for some reason a lousy law managed to get passed we'd be stuck with it for 100 years. I do like the other thoughts though gal.

thanks so much for the generous review and stars. The picture was from Fan Art. I think I looked up movie theatre, and that's what came up. I wish the government would go after these creeps more aggressively. Can you imagine the emotional damage these children suffer, if they ever live long enough to make it to adulthood. God help these little ones. This movie needs to be seen by everyone. When sin is exposed, it has a hard time flourishing.

It sickens me to think that children can be kidnapped and used for the sexual pleasure of these perverts. I think more needs to be done to put an end to this crime, and the only way more will get done is if we start letting out representatives know we want action. Thanks again for the great comments.

I once had a ten year old girl in my special education class who came to class with a mans class ring around her neck on a chain moms boyfriend. I reposted it and found out from my supervisor that the man just got released from jail for hurting the girl and her mom let him back in the house. So many of this goes completely unreported. Your article story is illuminating for sure. I pray that good people who care will also find the children in schools who only teachers find if we notice and care to act on what we learn. Due to my actions that man was put away for a very long time and I child was sent to a stable family member. Keep shining light. Best wishes.

Teachers are a vital part of kid's lives, and a teacher that is attentive and sensitive to each student will, like you, know when something is wrong. I applaud you for stepping up to the plate. thanks so much for the wonderful review and comments. Usually if the press or Hollywood says something disparaging about a movie, book, person, it has the exact opposite affect for me. It piques my interest. It seems that increasingly choosing evil is the direction that many want to take. At least the media would like us to believe that. We need to take a stand and let our light shine so the world can see that not everyone is compromised. This movie was an eye opener and a call to action. I hope lots more people see it and speak out.

thanks so much for the fine review and comments. I recall hearing of children from Ukraine being removed to Russia. There seems to be no end to the evil coming from Putin. For some reason these evil dictators forget that life comes to an end eventually, and whether or not they believe it, there will be a time to answer for our actions.

I appreciate your great review and comments. In the movie there was actual film of children being taken right off the streets, sometimes right in front of their homes. Unfortunately parents can no longer relax and assume that their kids are safe in their own yards. This problem needs to be exposed and dealt with aggressively.

At the end of the film, the main actor, Jim Caviezel mentioned that they had to fight tooth and nail to get this released. It should have come out five years sooner. It's a sad commentary on our value system in this country that entertainment can win out over the truth and trying to address a horrible problem. Thanks so much for the great review gal.

thanks so much for the great review and comments. I worked as a special-ed aide at school and worked with a number of kids who were easy targets as well. When an individual makes the decision to go down a path as despicable as the exploitation of children, there isn't much that they won't do. We're living in a fallen world, but we can be the light that Jesus spoke of.

Thanks so much for the generous review. I need to check into Tim Ballard more. I had read a book some years back about the kidnapping and exploitation of children in India after a tsunami. It was my first exposure to this despicable practice. It shames me to think that our country would be a primary destination for these innocent children.
