Excellent!! How do keep track of characters and all that action? Your descriptive writing gives the reader a sense of being a witness to the dialogue and action. It is common she wouldn't want to cal police and the way you write does truly bring each of these characters to life. I'm glad a had a chance to catch up. :)) Alexandra

Nice artwork. Tulips are my favorite, too. You wrote a very good chapter with a number of things taking place, as well as showing emotions of the characters involved. It's a shame Emma has such trouble expressing herself and holds things inside. Hopefully, she can learn to express her feelings.

The lighter side of the story was working on the enclosure for Molly. Everyone was organized and had an assigned job to do. You even added a bit of humor with these lines:
"Carl chuckled. "I see why you're building a dog porch. That little critter's a mess."

You raised the bar on this chapter when the man approached Emma and was planning to force her to go with him. Luckily Ace was on the job, and he did a great one. I don't think anyone wants to face a specially trained police dog.

Emma doesn't seem to have done anything that could be called manipulating a situation. Unfortunately, I can't remember what Seth said. I also must have missed the chapter where a guy from college showed up. I am not sure why I don't get notices about this book like I did with the other one. This is a good section moving the story forward and shows how much the locals appreciate Seth and Emma.

I don't think I have failed to read some, but there was a two week period in April when I could not get internet and then had an amazing number of things to catch up on. Is the college guy the one parked on the road near her house watching her?

Usually Emma and Seth talk out their issues. But Emma is holding in a lot in this chapter. I wonder why she won't open up. Is it because she has feelings for Seth and is afraid that he doesn't?
I did like how the community all came to help work on the dog porch together. I'm guessing there will be tulips in Emma's future!

I can understand why Emma is upset. It's understandable.
Barbara, I have miscalculated, I have no sixes left to give this that it so obviously deserves. Please do forgive me. I think it's a first. Hugs, Ulla in:)))

Another great chapter. I am sure you know where you are going with this and eventually, these two will take time to really talk their feelings out and get closer together.

So that person could be the one who stalks her with the car? Emma is understandably upset
very smooth continuation of the previous chapter .Hope Emma would stop over reacting ...may be she has a reason.

Barbara,
Your chapter is easy to follow, and your dialogue furthers your story nicely. As a dog owner, I like the way you include the dogs in your story.
Good luck, Barbara.
Blessings,
Cindy

Barbara, This is a very well written chapter. There must be a reason that Emma is so standoffish from Seth. I hope Emma and Seth can actually become great friends and more. This has great descriptive words and very good dialogue. And what about the college person? love and blessings, Teri

Poor Seth. Both he and Emma have crosses to bear, and both need to start trusting each other. What happened in the past, should stay in the past. My mum told me that!! Lol. This was another excellent chapter, Barb, and whoever that awful man was, I hope Seth gets him! Well done, my friend. :)) Sandra xx
