I really enjoyed reading this poem, but this line took me out of the poem, 'we watch your chest rise and fall'. The reason I keep looking at my chest to see if I could see it rise and fall. Not so easy to do. Probably just me. LOL Thank you for sharing this poem it's innocently passionate. I like that.

It's a poetic concept, the moon and the women watch the man while lies in bed breading....chest rise and fall... have you woken up and love your husband so much that just looking at him fills with love and gratefulness? I know you have. :)

"we watch your chest rise and fall" this line seemed singular, if satisfactory both chests should rise and rise, when lovemaking is intense, I (remember) compliments going both ways, and being a man, I am sure my chest was not the focus, I may have missed something here, but that line threw me, ****kahpot

Once in a while i write long free verse. It all depends on my mood. I even write prose once in a while... but not as good as you.

I don't know if you noticed but it's a tanka suite. I didn't follow strict rules so I called it a free verse, which it is. Most Japanese poetry are free verse.
