Jake, If you hit your head against a brick wall a few dozen times, you might understand the mindset. Unfortunately, moronism is not new. The 1920's the Klan and militaristic Christians spread ideas of Catholic, Jewish and black plots to take over the world. We have not made progress in our thinking, but seemed to have fallen back.
Well written outlining the fools of Qanon.

I had not thought of that, but you are right there is that history, and the phrase Make America Great Again echoes the 1930s America first isolationism

I have great difficulty with this mind set as well. It's as if they have been programed and no amount of logic or evidence will reset their thinking. I find it very frustrating and scary. Good luck in the contest.

I agree with you 100%. The problem is these people are fairly normal in other respects. To me this is much more serious problem that have a mental disease but because there are drugs which can make people with the disease behave and think normally. For those who have swallowed the Qanon lemonade there is no cure. I have two children that believe it, and they always been rational before. They believe most of the people in washington are clones and including Bidon and Hilary and all the other garbage you mention. Actually there are some who write on this site who believe all that.

Many Trump supporters believe he is a deity and want to have him in power until he dies. No more voting and all judges and government under his thumb. That's fazism or far right. It's an interesting psychosis. Good choice.

As America is such a vast country made up of some very small towns I can understand that rumours spread and people are influences by such nonsensical stories. People believe what they want to believe despite the facts staring them in the face. I am not sure at all what motivates people but I have met a lot of people lately mostly online who are pretty out there. I have read some of the Q droppings which led to this political rant.
