I love your guilty pleasure, Brenda. We all need quiet time to relax, think and heal. I, too, enjoy the peace and quiet that gives me time to think. Using solitude for protection and replenishing your heart and soul is not selfish as you are taking care of yourself. It is a healthy pleasure.

Many people do not realize that they do an injustice to their families, their friends, their co-workers and the world in general by not recharging their batteries!!!! No one is at their best when 'they are not at their best'. Taking time in solitude should be a pleasure only -- no guilty involved. Good luck in the contest. ann

You would certainly get any complaints from Father God, in spending time with Him, He covets this intimacy with Him. Jesus did it all the time, for the demands on His time and energy were extraordinary. Beautifully written my friend, blessings Roy
