I like your haiku poem- good picture presentation- good word count - flows s well- calming - pouring into the calm the mind with the sound of the waves- nice mental picture - good job AP

Stunning haiku in words and image. The sound of waves hitting the shore command your attention to drown out disturbing thoughts and replace them with calm and peace.

You have a great command of language and excel at this form. I wish I had a six. I've never been to the ocean, but you make me want to get there as soon as I can. I sounds like the perfect place to sit and let the sand and surf take your mind to other worldly places.

The image is very serene. Your words are captivating the image as well as the poem. There is something about the calming sounds of the ocean. Have you ever had a massage and listen to a tape of soothing ocean sounds?

What a great haiku, Gypsy. You are absolutely correct, it is so peaceful to sleep by. The picture of the twilight sun and the water makes so much sense, they drown out loud thoughts. Blessed Be n Hugs!!!

Yes, the waves caressing the shore can be very calming. Also the seagulls cawing can be calming. I love sitting on the beach and enjoying these calming sounds. Thank you for sharing this poem and bringing back the possibilities.

This one struck my fancy. I love the personification of the waves, the idea of sun pouring into the ocean, and the entire calm atmosphere of this poem. Great work.

This looks like a sunset to me, but it could also be a sunrise as sometimes they are similar, an ambient write full of calm and tranquil moments, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

    Twilight can be referred to in the morning and in the evening, but I thought this seemed like a sunset, much enjoyed, love Dolly x
