It's got to be her bad ex- boyfriend, hanging around, testing the waters, scoping things out. Here comes trouble. It is a joy to read clean entertainment. No various body parts showing, talked about, or carnal acts described. Thank you.

fully functional adult. I can hear her saying that with a slightly injured tone.

wannabe dog. Love it!

intrigue. Who's driving that car and what do they want? Definitely a page turner.

Thank you for going back and reading these. I am so sorry, you're not getting any FS money for it.

First, let me apologize for the lateness. I've been fighting flu-like symptoms with severe coughing spells for several weeks. Emergency room drama...the whole nine yards. Now, getting to your chapter 3:

I like the Emma character...she seems a hoot. It will be interesting to see what she's up to next.

It looks like the romance will be between Emma and Seth. If that's true, I can't wait to see the sparks grow. I know you like your romance nice and slow.

"That wanna-be dog." [Funny]

The flour bag next to it started to tumble and flour dust covered her. [Hey, you always flag me when I write, 'next to' insisting it should be 'beside'. Or is next to appropriate here? Just wondering.

Objects it's next to, people it's beside. LOL Thank you for the kind review and I will pray that you completely heal.

Ok, objects, 'next to'. Got it! Not out of the woods, but the medication is working. Bless you for your prayers.

This is another excellent chapter. You moved the story along nicely. I feel a little sorry for Emma, always getting herself into a fix. There is no room for improvement. Have a blessed day.

This is getting interesting. Seems something is afoot with the dead man's car.

I didn't find any errors, but I tried. Very hard. And read it twice (frown) No payback today.

I like the characters. They seem genuine and the dialogue is very realistic. Looking forward to the next installment.

Very excellent piece of literature written here quite like this. Maybe your character is a little bit bossy and Shakes his head affair amount, But that's o k every person has their challenge and every person has their thing that they're really good at so onward and upward!! That's the tic ally speaking it's a very nice piece of work put together well. You're sent in structure and the punctuation in the spelling all good to me. I thank you for your submission and best of luck have a great day!

I would have liked to know what kind of shape Emma was in since it was mentioned that Seth could lift 250 pounds. Lots of nice exchanges and still curious on the head shaking. Time will tell.

Hi Barbara.
Seems to me there's going to be a romance beginning between this two.

Emma so far has given me some chuckles by the silly things she does, especially with those 50lbs of flour.

Another good, flowing chapter to keep us intrigued and wanting more.

Maybe it's me but this sentence didn't read right to me...
//////You should've spent time working up to climbing up there." ///////

"Maybe, but I had to help the boys get their kite."

Thank you... John

I'll recheck that area. Thank you for pointing it out. Emma forgets to think before she acts. LOL

Would you not put up an outside fence to give her the run of the yard so she would not wander off?

Bet Emma did need help reaching for a 50 pound bag of flour off the top shelf, while on her toes. Good way to hurt herself.

Emma seems to do things without figuring them all the way out and needs help getting out of predicaments she gets into.

That Crown Victoria will surely figure into the storyline and not in a good way.

Emma and Seth will probably end up getting together.

Yes, Emma has a problem of acting before thinking. It will get her into some problems. LOL Yes, it's a romance. Thank you for the kind review.

Emma certainly has her share of close encounters to be rescued from by the police chief. I guess that's one way to develop a relationship. Great job as always, and I'm looking forward to the next chapter. Have a great day. Shirley
