Mr. Rogers sounds like a real jerk and not too bright. Lying in court is such a stupid thing to do, but it sounds like he thinks he can get away with anything.
Great dialogue.

Wish you every success in publication of your book TWO TATTERED HEARTS, this chapter, there is no point about payment for maternity insurance, obvious, romance is not so nasty, and marriage is romantic and love activation, rape is ever a crime; the matter is common but here complexity growing and making readers wisdom in love and romance and living under use of law; well done; ALCREATOR LITT DEAR

Another great chapter! Ali is a whirlwind of a lawyer, and she deserves all the glory for putting Rogers in his place. I'm looking forward to the next few chapters. Best, JohnC

This is really a good chapter and very interesting how Alex gets things done. I hope she can do as well for Lisa because she needs help. I hope Pat doesn't make sure he goes to jail so he can't pay, although he doesn't seem that stupid.

Barbara:

Somehow, I seem to always find your books either midway or veery close to the end. I am so excited that your book will soon be coming out in paperback. Now I wonder where my book might be.

On another note, I still mis Gayle Farmer so much - not just because she was the publisher of my 3rd book and was a fine writer, but I also considered her my friend.

I am definitely going to go back and read the beginning of your book.

Thank you for the kind review. Question, did your book disappear too???

I haven't checked, but I suppose I should. Do you know if Gayle's husband, Jeff Farmer, is still alive?
reply by the author on 08-Feb-2023
I don't know. I attempted to reach him and got a holding company, who wouldn't give me any information. I contacted amazon and go no informaiton. I wanted to find out what happened to my book. It's been removed from Amazon. I have no way of contacting him.

The saga continues and the story flows. I have only read the last few chapters and look forward to see how all of this unfolds. I am curious, what kind of outline did you put in place for this story?

I always start with an outline and research. As I write my characters often take on a life of their own. I will then follow their lead attempted to stay close to the outline. Thank you for the kind review.

This was a most satisfying read with a central character a smart, canny county judge. His honour Judge Pickett is the sort of man anyone honest would hope to be at the helm in such a case as this. By golly Pat Rogers was a swine as a younger man and the judge is quite rightly making him pay now. This is a well written, interesting episode from a
much longer piece. It caught and held my interest and satisfied my curiosity, Well done cheers Cass

I'm glad to see Pat get his come-up pence at last. I have followed this story for quite some time and will continue to do so. It is skillfully written, which makes for a fun read. Nice writing.
