I love it. Sylvester is not evil, just a cat. Sometimes, Tweety was a bit vicious if you ask me. Cartoons often show the cat as the villain. Maybe that should be reconsidered as cats do a great job protecting us from pests. Let them be the hero.

Hi! Some people, like myself,
respect cats as miniature
tigers, lions, etc. A year ago
our neighbor's cat was coming over our fence to
kill some birds. We took photos of her in our yard. When we showed the photos
to her owner, she got defiant. We
politely asked her to keep
her cat indoors, unless she
had her in an enclosure
outside during the day.
It's the cat's nature to hunt,
but her owner was so defensive about it. We have
bird apartment houses on the
property, and before long
they'll be nesting again. The
cat's owner finally started to
keep her out of our yard and
in their house. We had to
help three stray cats out
from under our house. It wasn't good for them under
there, they were chewing
the insulation, etc. A neighbor
not far from here feeds them.
We told animal control they
need to be adopted. We have
two dogs. You've penned a
very superb explanation on
cat's nature. Best wishes for

Thank you. I live on three acres in the country with no close neighbors. It makes it nice because I can let my cats outside without bothering anyone. My cats are all spayed and neutered which pretty much stops them from running around. Cats will be cats.

Thank you. First and foremost, I'm a cat person. My cats are my family, and it would be a sad world without them.

Thank you. I think it is sad that all these classic cartoons are being banned for violence. I never considered them violent.

And yet they can air the zombie series, and that's fine for kids to watch! It makes no sense!

I absolutely loved this. If someone has not seen Sylvester and Tweety they are missing out on a lot of laughs and broom sweeping from Grandma. I never did care for Tweety and am one hundred percent for Sylvester!

On a bit of a different note, I would like to say I am proud of the way you have renewed your skill at writing. Europe punctuation was superb and the flow of the story when it was read to me by my computer, which I have to do because of my vision flowed very smoothly. Others at times do not use enough punctuation for a workflow smoothly and said he has read to me by the computer. Thanks for a beautiful story Patricia.

I stay with the writing site as long as I can. The reason I stay is my life is boiled down to only two activities that I really am comfortable doing one is being able to walk which I spend a couple hours a day walking and the other is being able to right. At this point my vision is such that I can still use the computer and speak to the computer to write poetry but once the division is gone to the point that I can?t see to do that anymore I would just be down to not being able to do anything I suppose.

well, I was reading your bio, and at least you also have a dog. He/she must be a brave soul and have the patience of Job. I am not a cat person because I'm allergic, but I used to watch old Sylvester and Tweety Bird. I remember sylvester lisped, or I think he did, spraying everybody. Well, if he were alive, he'd appreciate your defense of him. Congrats on All Time Best.

Thank you. Yep, I do have one dog and six cats. My dog and cats grew up together and have remained best friends to this day.

I grew up watching all of the Looney Tunes. Cats are natural predators, and birds seem to be a particular favorite. We had a Mama cat that would snatch a bird off a feeder in a second, and I had to move the feeders. What a wonderfully written story.

Thank you. Cats will be cats, and their instinct is to hunt small critters and sometimes not-so-small critters. One of my cats came back with a rabbit almost as big as he was.
