I seem to have missed quite a bit. As an 'in medias res' short story this is interesting, but I still find Ali and Cord rather distanced and formal with each other for a couple who are planning their wedding. kay

They aren't planning their wedding day. It was a discussion Cord overheard as the ladies were describing their imaginary wedding. Thank you for the kind review. Cord hasn't proposed.

I got so confused with the homecoming and prom conversation. I was positive you couldn't have made a mistake that I was thinking. My age got the best of me.

Good chapter. John

LOL If they dated for homecoming, then they did date. Pat said they never dated. He rated her at Prom. Thank you for the kind review.

Your story will soon take us to a wedding. We'll have to wait and see when it happens between Ali and Cord. The bad fellow, in this story, sure has covered much evidence up before Ali, the lawyer, came upon the scene.

I am sure glad that they found the manuscript for your story, Tattered Hearts." What a scare.

Thank you for the review and about Two Tattered Hearts. I couldn't believe the story was missing.

That wasn't nice of Amy's parents, although I think it's more her father than her mother, she seems to be one of those mothers who do as they are told. After what she went through, you'd think her parents would have been there for her. Now we are getting closer to the trial, and also we are getting close to having a wedding!!!! I enjoyed this part, well done, Barbara. One little nit below. :) Sandra xxx

I made the correction, but I'm not sure Jim would know neither is a word. LOL Earlier we learned that Amy's mom wanted to help but wouldn't overrule her husband. Thank you for the kind review.

Bless you, thank you so much. I'll get there. I'm already feeling a lot better than I was even when I left hospital. Prayers do work. Love you lots, my friend. xx

This is another excellent chapter. You moved the story and the love story along nicely. I am a little confused if Cord went to the prom. First, he names his prom date and then he was at a rodeo.

He named his date for Homecoming, he went to a rodeo instead of Prom. Thank you for the kind review.
