What a heart warming poem for your dear mom who has passed away 11 year ago yet she has been in your heart forever. You are lucky to have had such a nice mom.

Well done.

A lovely testament to your Mother. I feel this way about my own father. Well written. It puts your feelings on paper for us to see. Thankyou and best of luck in the competition.

This is a lovely poem for a very special person. You never know when a long-gone parent will suddenly come to mind many years later. Fortunately, we remember the best things about them. best wishes for the 3-line Poetry contest.

I just came across this and wanted to say sorry for your loss. One day I hope they find a cure for all cancer. I lost my husband to lung cancer.

This poem shares a strong message in a few words.
I might have shortened the middle line to you still live on but I feel that saying in my heart was an important part of the poem.

I understand that feeling. My dad has dementia/Alzheimer's and will probably be leaving this Earth in the next 1-2 years. It's heartbreaking when faced with this reality.

I lost my mom 8 years ago to ovarian cancer. I miss her everyday. But, as you have expressed in your tribute - they lives in our hearts. Thank you for sharing your inspirational insights.

So sorry to know you had to say goodbye to your mother before you should have. Cancer is such a wicked thing. I thought your sweet poetic words were just right as a reminder our moms never really leave us. Their love and their impact on our lives endure long beyond the grave. God bless you.

No we never do stop loving them or thinking about the ones we lose, they are always with us. It's a blessing when inspiration strikes and we can release our emotions our thoughts. A lovely 3line poem.
