Sorry for your loss. She must have been a good one to remember her so fondly.
This is a lovely, wonderful tribute and must be comforting to know that you will see her again one day.
God bless!

Thank you for reading and reviewing, Douglas. I appreciate it and your feedback. Yes, she was an amazing woman, and I can only hope to be a great woman, too. I'm also looking forward to seeing her again, but only when it's time. Thanks again for reading. Take care. :D

I think most of us can relate to your words. There is a strong feeling of love coming from your poem. "yet, you still live in my heart" is a perfect line and is where our Moms do live. There is a light feel and flow to your words and the poem makes the reader feel good.

Very nice dedication poem. You did an excellent job with only three lines and made it direct and sincere. I liked the pink background and overall presentation as well. Good Luck in the contest!!

Thank you for reading and reviewing, Brandon. I appreciate it and your feedback. I felt that background color fit my mom the best, and I'm thrilled it paired so well. Thank you again for reading. Take care. :D

Your short three line poem for the contest is written with heartfelt emotion. You chose sixteen explicit words that expressed how you will always feel about your mom, even though she is not physically with you. As you stated, she will live forever in your heart. Best wishes in the contest.

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it and your feedback. I was shocked at how quickly the words spilled out, as I don't usually write poetry. I'm thrilled they've made as big of an impact as they have. Thank you for reading again. Take care. :D

So very true. You never stop loving a parent after they're gone. I know that for a fact..
I loved your three line poem, and I wish you the best of luck. All best, Ulla:)))

Thank you for reading and reviewing, Ulla. (Beautiful name, by the way.) I appreciate it and your feedback. Yes, parental love stays long after they depart this Earth. Thank you again for reading. Take care. :D

You did an excellent job expressing your feelings in this short poem. Unfortunately, the print is a little on the small side, but you can probably change that if you want to. Also, an illustration might benefit the entire presentation.
Best wishes.

Ciao !
Mothers have a special place in our hearts.
I m sorry for your loss.
My mother died suddenly in Dec 2006. 5 minutes and she was gone .
We were not speaking due to a silly argument 4 days prior.
This still upsets me. I didn't get a chance to make up . Say I loved her.
I read your notes, cancer is a bitch, your mother's passing was I believe in some way a liberation.
Her pain must have been excruciating .. it must have been horrible to see her suffer like that.

Thank you for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it and your feedback. Yes, cancer is an awful, horrible disease, and I can't wait for the day we eradicate it for good! I'm so sorry about your loss. All losses are difficult, but not saying goodbye...that's the most painful. I pray she's able to look down on you and know that you loved her. Thank you again for reading. Take care. :D

For anyone who has ever lost a mom, this hits home. I lost my own mom in 1987, at the unthinkable age of 60. I remember her every single day--
Our parents are irreplaceable. I pray your mom is smiling down at this very sweet tribute.

Thank you for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it and your feedback. My mom was 60, too! That's way too young for any parent to go, and I'm sorry you lost yours so early. It's one of the most painful experiences we humans can go through. I pray she is, too. Sometimes I like to think about how she'd react to see me in certain situations, especially the ones I swore I'd never do--like become a teacher, as I didn't think that job was for me. Well, here I am. Life's funny that way. I hope your mom is smiling down on you, too. Thank you again for reading. Take care. :D

I thought the very same thing when I graduated from Nursing School. Mom's have a way of knowing...let's pray that works from that heaven's view!

It is a very well written poem in remembering your Mom.
You are right mother's love always stays inside our heart.
What a mother does is beyond description.
Your poem brings back memories of my mother who left me almost 50 years ago,

Thank you for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it and your feedback. Even though it was 50 years ago, I'm still sorry for your loss. I still have my dad, but he'll probably be joining Mom in the next few years, and that's such a devastating thought. I'm trying to enjoy all the time I can with him...despite him suffering through Alzheimer's. Thank you again for reading. Take care. :D
