This is a good entry to the Start and Ends the Same contest. The text is a good size. The message is clearly stated. However, it is just matter of fact stated ideas. It has no poetic language or flair. The poem would be enhanced with some poetic language, metaphors......etc. A visual would also help this piece. Do you mean journal or journey in your description? Good luck in the contest.

You are welcome.

Very nicely constructed poem. It tells a beautiful story in few words, but the words are meaningful and appropriate. I liked: found myself, found my soulmate...
Very well done!

Korea is many miles from the United States; it brings us a lot of cultures that we are not used to. I'm sure your journey there started when you were in the service. Many do go there as a soldier.
