First reading for me. Alexandria had a feeling something bad was going to happen. It did, does she explain later why she had that bad feeling? Unless I missed it. Seems like a good story.

Your story is very suspenseful with lots of bad luck for Ali. With Griffin in jail and perhaps for the rest of his life, I cannot wait for the day that Alexandra will find some sort of peace herself.

Written well. Now I would like to read the entire story. Life is exactly how this story went. In cases of emergencies, anyone would get out of bed and automatically help.

Wow, a total action chapter! I had to read slowly to keep up with all that was happening. I was surprised that Ali was able to hobble out and help with the horses.
It was neat that Ali had the premonition of something bad happening, and that the dogs woke Cordero. Comforting that Griffin was already arrested, he should do some prison time for arson.

Griffin just will not stop creating problems. Now he starts the barn fire.

The doctor should force Alexandra into the hospital.

Cord is right, if he pushes too hard Alexandra will run back to New York and leave him far behind.
