I've read this episode out of sequence, but I'm glad I did in a sense, I realise that this chance encounter between Abby and E.J. Could be the beginning if a mutual need, which we all need in life, pity about the hole in one, bridge is the queen of card games, thsts a plus. Well done, Jim, blessings Roy

I found this post much better written than the previous chapter. It was concise, and not repetitive as the last one, to me anyways.
I can sense a little romance brewing between this two.

A well crafted chapter. Maybe it's not ball. Maybe E.J. good luck charm is Abby. I wonder when, that will occur to him; perhaps after either uses another ball or starts to win at bridge. A really good pace being set, and the two seem like they beginning a 'real' friendship. But soon E.J. will have to let Abby talk about herself.
Not my best thinking, but like I said, my mind does some strange things sometimes.["]
