Well, there is no twist to the plot but it was heartfelt and romantic all in one. I hope you continue in this fashion because it is easy to read and I love the expressions you use to describe how they parted ways. This is excellent and well-written. Thanks for sharing this wonderful tale.

Thank you, Jesse. I'm glad you're enjoying it. I write simply. If I tried flowery descriptions and elegant phraseology, I could not pull it off in a believable way.

This is a really sad chapter, handled very sympathetically. Maintaining relationships through correspondence is always difficult. but I think you have more in store for Fred and Abby!
