I just never tire of these five-sever-five poems. This is a wonderful black and white artwork that meshes with the snow, dark trees, the black background, and the white test. Great job!

Ah, your wee poem evokes such serenity, and it's peace sorely needed in these trying times. The syllable count is bang-on, and the picture chosen, perfect for the words.

Yes... It's like the earth is tucked in and sleeping in peaceful beauty.

This is a beautifully written 5-7-5 poem. It has a nice overall presentation background and font. Beautiful photo to compliment your words as well. Good luck in the contest.

In Buffalo, our neighbor to the west, which received an unprecedented SEVENTY inches of it last week, that "quiet" probably only lasted until the first snowblower started. But the tableau of the picture you chose is serene-looking, indeed!! Nice 5-7-5 entry. I hope it does well!

I appreciated your contest entry and wish you well. Unfortunately, we don't have snow here in the sub tropics. The seasons are changing all over the world, not for the better. Australia is or was a land of droughts and floods - now we just have mighty floods. K xx

Snowfall covers the world in silence at least for a time. This says so much about how the world needs solitude and quiet while winter months behold us and spread some peace and tranquility throughout the land. I love the sentiment of this short poem and all the promise it entails.
Have a lovely Thanksgiving!
Jesse

This is a very beautiful and well written 5-7-5 poem you have penned for the contest. You used very gentle words that helped me to feel the softness and gentleness of the snow falling down. Great art work you chose. Best wishes in the contest. Teri

A delightful little Haiku obeying the requirements of the form with a glorious photo to accompany it. When my husband and I visited Canada a few years ago we marveled at the snow clad pine forest and the sun glinting off the droplets as it melted. Simply beautiful. Cheers Franky
