I despise this man/coward/bully who so cruelly inflicted such harsh punishment on you! It's such a terrible and horrifying story. I don't know whether it helps to write about it, but it must be painful to relive it.

Oh, wow. This is some scary shit. The thing about being young is you never know when you can't win something. You are surely in a pickle now. This just goes to show how corrupt and inhumane some of these homes are. I'm hoping they are better monitored now. But I'm sure things still go unnoticed. Thank you for posting. Gretchen

I'm almost shaking with anger at the abuse that you and the other boys suffered at the hands of this bastard. I sincerely hope that the law has caught up to him, if one of his "boys" hasn't already. I'm not sure I can handle the next chapter, but I'll read a bit of it and see. I don't really want to miss anything.

Were you really that brave knowing how he could make you suffer? He certainly doesn't sound like the kind of person who should have ever been put in that position. I'm almost intimidated by just reading this. It is hard to imagine someone who is supposed to be turning troubled kids into upstanding citizens using just language. He must have done far more harm than good. I hope something bad happens to him and he isn't left there to torture more boys.

Also am a retired country lead guitarist, remember Cal Smith's hit, and then the Johnny Cash version.
Also mourned Loretta Lyn's passing. Many moons ago, we were the warm-up band for her sister, Crystal Gayle at the Steamboat Casino in Wendover, Nevada. Got to talk with her at the bar after hours, very nice lady.

Nice runs in the Lynn family. I too have certain Country music ties, mostly the Legends like Bill Anderson, and my personal all-time favorite, and close friend Billy Walker, the Tall Texan. Can not live your whole life in Music City and not cross paths with them. Appreciate your comments and the review.
