I love the subject , something different.

That said a warning from someone that has been disqualified once because I declined the offer to edit.

ING alone is not considered rhyming.


Plying and Writing for example have only ING

Rhyming and Writing idem have only ING

PS: The committee usually gives you the option to edit.

    Hmmm. Thank you, but I'm confused. Their example was sowing, hoeing, growing, mowing.
    The only edit then available would be a total rewrite.
    I appreciate your warning.

    I alway thought hoeing was out of place .. anyways , usually the committee will give you a chance to edit before contest hits the booth.

    Rather than make a total rewrite, I declined and my entry was disqualified.

    When it happened to me , the committee gave me time to edit but there was no way I could adjust my poem without doing a total rewrite and changing the theme.

    I liked my poem so I declined and my entry was disqualified.

I like this but it feels a little bit forced in places, ie six stars rewards, I feel should really be six star rewards and why writhing? Does writing poetry really cause you intense physical discomfort? I hope not. Anyway, despite all that, this is a good poem that follows the rules given so well done.
