Gypsy,

I always liked your horror Haiku or poetry genre. Dean would be proud of this one.

This one tells a macabre story - good overall presentation!

Another fine poem, Gypsy....this poem could be describing a voter's journey to the polls to vote for a Republican, any republican or a tribute to Dean!

I miss Dean and his poems too. I used to tease him about being able to read his work before I went to bed. LOL Thank you for sharing this poem with us. Yes, ravens are referenced a lot in literature.

You and Dean were a great team together! And it's October so how can we not remember our King of horror poems? Thanks for sharing and I liked the reference to the raven.

This is just like what happened in Ft. Myers where people woke up one day, lost everything and found their houses in the middle of ocean. It was like a nightmare except it was true.

Well done.

I like your Sijo poem- excellent picture presentation- reminds of my yard after the recent hurricane!!- Poem is rich will familiar metaphors re-enforcing the theme- ravens-nightmares- travel to the underworld- Hades- paints a clear picture of the journey to loveless hell- very cool- also excellent is the time taken to expand and inform in your notes- good job

I remember Dean Kuch, he was here when I first found this site. Your poetry always reminded me of someone, and now I know who it was. This poem is excellent as all your writing is. Good work.
