Best/good friends are closer than sisters (Actually, the maxim is for brothers, but who's counting?)
I can't see 5'5"1/2 as anything but a bit taller than average, especially in heels.

Everybody needs at least one friend like this - where it's impossible to offend one another. I have two, and the defining feature of my relationship with both is that, even if it's been years since we saw each other, we'll be talking rubbish within moments of meeting. With one, I can have entire conversations in movie quotes. The other is the only person I've ever been able to collaborate with on stories.
I loved reading this - your mutual affection shines through!

Everybody needs at least one friend like this - where it's impossible to offend one another. What fun times you have made for yourselves. Have these been lifelong friendships? I also think it's a huge sign of lasting friendship when, despite how long it's been, you pick right up wherever it was you left off. Nothing tops that.

Sadly, ovarian cancer took her much too soon.
Such relationships live on in our hearts, though.
I'm counting on her to pick up right where we left off when I catch up with her!
