This is a cute alphabet story for children. As a former early childhood school teacher, I envisioned a book with colorful pictures of things the girls found in nature. I'm not sure young children, promised a prize, would be happy with 'Joy,' instead of a tangible prize. However, the spiritual lesson is imaginative and necessary. The title is compelling and draws readers. Best wishes in the contest.

That really was 'cool' lol. I think all children would like to play that game. It's fun and educational as well. Really well done and good luck in the contest. Sandra xx

This was a great story. And it taught the kids to enjoy life in general. With every letter of the alphabet, there is something named after each letter. In the end, they found the letter Z stood for sleep. Thank you for sharing this great awareness piece.

Oh yeah, let's have some zeds, how cool, teaching children to be grateful for all the things that God has given is a very good game, it teaches us to be humble, and not develop a sense of entitlement. Well done, good luck, great post, blessings Roy

Great story. An easy read, having a good pace and flow. Would like to take a course on writing children's stories. There are so few new ones. My grand children will enjoy this one.
Thank you.

bucketful's should be bucketfuls.

Seems the girls learned a valuable lesson and had fun doing it.

Isn't that what learning is about?

Then, being thankful for all one is given.

What a great way to help the girls find the "Z." This sounds like a great activity for any school age child just beginning to learn their alphabet. I am sure they would be amazed at all that God has given us.

Very nice story.

This is an adorable story. I like the large colorful font. It fits what one expects in kids' writing. The story made a lot of sense, and it was a cool activity any parent could do with children. The ending is really a smart way to get the letter Z into the story. The visual also fits well. Don't forget to make schoolwork a compound word in the first paragraph.

This is a great entry to the contest!

A very charming and God
affirming children's story. I
really enjoyed it. Gratefulness
to God should be learned early in life as the child
characters in your story do.
Many blessings to you & yours. ~
