A wonderful poem written with an explorers eye, adventurers spirit and artists creative design.
Sparkling in your writing: your descriptive words, scenery you chisel and carve out of the terrain, the ebb and flow of nature movements in water and on the ground, though I saw less movement in air. But you have captured a great deal, very eloquently in your poem.
I also observed progression and retraction of night, receding and intensifying light, erosion of memories and dilapidated dreams. Also magnificent is the sounding of your poetry in timber and octave, your appeal to all the senses.
Interesting combination of scents of horse manure and house paint and roasting fresh-caught trout. Were you trying to convey discord here or an unpleasant memory of some kind or emotion, I wonder.
How wonderful an experience to read your poem, to discover every movement, motion, emotion is broken down in minute, milliseconds, blink of an eye and eyes wide open detail, in quarters, intervals, hours, events, to build tempo of a full day.

Marvellous. Such an evocative poem. I have seen that part of the world, albeit many moons ago. You bring back fond memories not only of the grandeur of the landscape but the warmth of the people.

A very sensuous poem. The texture of the words brings out the sensations of nature. The warmness of the delivery speaks of a deep affection. The flow is good. The progression through the senses fills out the experience well.
