Your story is getting more to the point about competition as Cord and Ali get to know what they like and dislike. Life will go on for them, but will it be the Big Apple or living on a ranch?

That is the major question. Who is going to give in? Thank you for the kind review.

This is a great chapter! Joyce is getting on my nerves. I'm sure we haven't seen the last of her. How could Cordero have made it any plainer to her? I'm happy they found the bull, as well. Best, JohnC

I'm sorry you read this with no money attached. Thank you. I can promise Joyce finally got the picture.

It's okay; I seemed to have missed it. It's not all about money, lol.

The story is developing very well. with the background of their romance you have slipped in some drama also -the missing bull and of course Joyce. I hope Ali wont feel insecure..

This is another excellent addition to your book. You moved the story along nicely. I have been enjoying the development of the Ali Cord relationship.I do not see any room for improvement.

Another exciting chapter, Barbara. The dialogue, as usual, pushes the story. Just a couple of things below.

"What?" Alexandra's eyes widened[.]
At home Cordero parked and checked his watch. "It's fairly early, what would you like [to] do?"

There's lots packed into this chapter - several locations, the discovery of the stolen bull, and the confrontation with Joyce. The common theme running through it all is the gentle romance and budding friendship between your leads. I didn't see any spags to note and there was only the one PoV switch, which was completely natural. A beautifully written chapter.

The story is going very well. There are enough evil people to make for some excitement and to make Alex and Cord fight even harder to be together. And the day always ends with ice cream or dessert.

barbara.wilkey I'm having a good time reading your new novel
Its filled with action and do I see a romance problem?
Here is another question now is there a concern about the safety of Joyce?

Interesting revelation that Cord had been a rodeo guy. That sounds like an "iffy" kind of life. We lived 9 years in Mesquite, TX, and I never went to a rodeo. I'd probably be too concerned about the safety of the animals and the cowboys to enjoy. Interesting that Cord recognized his stolen bull among the rodeo bulls. In your paragraph about the brand, it sounds like Sam is the one with the small brand in his ear. You might want to clarify. Cord needs to trust Ali to manage on her own. She doesn't need to have someone guarding her all the time. Joyce is so out of place, showing up like that. As Cord says, she embarrasses herself. If Ali truly wanted that lawyer's job back in New York, she'd have skedaddled back there already. I think she'll find her place in Texas. They have lawyers there too. judi

Thank you for the kind review. It has been alluded to before that Cord rode in the rodeo. I have been to many rodeos. My uncle was the first bull rider induction into the rodeo hall of fame.

You're welcome. We were living where one was nearby, but I never went. I didn't think I'd care for it. judi
