This was a great Six Feet Under, Gypsy. The picture of the soldiers was unfortunately a sad event. Vietnam was cruel to the soldiers. I can truly fathom the meaning, death was kind to them. Blessed be n hugs!

Another fine poem, Gypsy and war is anything but glorious, but no one bothered to tell that to the military brass or most politicians who keep sending young men and women to give their all

Even the wind has taken on the battle cry. That was such a horrific war and there are many controversial decisions surrounding it. Still we should honor those who served in it. Thanks for helping us to think and remember.

Yes, I tried to keep it neutral but I agree with you. It was very political and the poor soldiers were not treated well when they came back.

Thank you very much, Helen. I always appreciate your insightful and kind reviews. Peace and Love.

I'm afraid our joint nations have been guilty of these militaristic crimes a few times, our anger at Russia isn't different from that, the folk it's inflicted on are the innocent as well as the guilty, well done, blessings Roy,

You did a great job in crafting a poem around these parameters and keeping the emotional level high. You are so adept at crafting and writing these types of poems. Well done, Gypsy!!
