I like the ice crystal ray. And you use a powerful verb like "spear" which shows us the power of nature and weather and how it can pierce the quiet comfort of human constructions like cabins.

Another fine poem, Gypsy, although I don't like the way it condones violence. Those ice crystal rays need help, spearing the trusting cozy cabin---or maybe over thinking again?

I like the way you have zoomed in during this poem, with stanza one being devoted to the landscape while stanza two is just outside the window. You meanwhile are tucked up in the warm, presumably writing. Kate xx

Great imagery! Unique and original wordplay here and such a stunning image to accompany this beautiful septolet. "spear cozy cabin" ~ wow.
That's one of those many "wish I'd thought of it" phrases! Your muse works overtime!

I loved the picture of the snow covered trees, Gypsy. Your words showed that the contrast between the trees and the cabin. Very well done, greatly enjoyed. Blessed be n hugs!

Your vivid use of words makes nature come alive. It is as if winter is a live character and is able to pierce the cabin. You have a smooth flow of words and a clear picture is created in your poem.

There's nothing like coming into the warmth of a home. Or in this case, a nice war, cabin, with a roaring fire to warm not only the body. But the cokckles, beautifully written Gypsy. Blessings Roy
