This is gorgeous, playing like a song in my head, and a song with great depth and feeling. It's an ode to utter devotion, no negatives or sadness, just the beauty of togetherness. I loved it.

What a beautifully written poen. We were together many years,remaining close, remaining true.Although I struggle with my tears,my heart remains, always with you. A beautiful Poem for your departed wife. It has a nice flow and rhyme .Very moving and touching as always. I really enjoy reading your poems.

What a soul wrenching collection of thoughts and words. I relate so closely to what you say because you express what I feel for my wife. Now that my wife and I are both in the ballpark (our 70s) of being able to leave at any time, I pray daily that I go before her. I know how you must feel, but I really don't, because I don't have to feel it yet.
My sympathy goes out to you. We love so strong when we are here on earth, don't we?
