What a wonderful review to receive after a rather long and arduous day...
This particular poem was such a joy to pen... No walking anywhere these past two days = ice storm. Michiganders refer to the kind of weather we are experiencing as "Third Winter." It follows after the "First Fake Spring!" :)

How neat to hear the bird sounds. My cats came running when they heard them. Lovely pictures to accompany your poem, too. I love your description of the blue jay. You beautifully describe spring unfolding, with the turtles and does. I can understand your desire to visit this peaceful place often, and never mind the blue jay. Maybe, as you write, he doesn't like uninvited visitors. Bringing food sounds like a good idea. It'll show that you come in peace and don't mean to disturb anything. Lovely work.

The sounds of the pond are soothing. They make me think I'm there, though I'm really in a desert area. Your picture plus sound interspersed with text are beautiful. The formatting of the lines is super. I like each section. When I came to the end of one, and another picture appeared, I had time to reflect on what I'd just read. All the images work well in their place. I can't pick one over the others, but I like the turtles and the daffodils a lot. Your words prove the calming experience one needs and finds amongst nature. You are lucky to have such a beautiful place to decompress. My desert area has many places on the other end of your spectrum.
