Pat ,Maggie and Amy Harding have come as thorns in the smooth path of Alexandra and Cordero. A woman scorned and a man out for revenge ...I am enjoying this very much.

Oh, my goodness. I'm sorry I missed this but I'm so behind with reviewing. This has been the worst year ever as far as my keeping up with reviews is concerned. This is exciting. Pat is determined to stir up trouble between Alex and Cordero. He probably is behind the Maggie business when Maggie claims to be Cord's girlfriend. I don't know why Alex agreed to dance with Pat or even acknowledged him. She is awfully quick to blame Cord, but she'll not doubt cool down in time. Great story, and a lot of happenings in this part. judi

I liked how you used a tight focus on the dialogue here to generate all this tension between the characters. I'm walking in on this, but the tension comes through in spades. We see here how the characters are manipulating each other's feelings, and musceling in on each other. Nice control of the dialogue in this piece. estory

The plot is getting a little excited. So now we have two people (men) and they want a relationship with Alexandra. And Ali does not know how to trust them and does not know their background either.

Phew that was a chapter and a half. I don't care about the girls getting in the way and making Cordero into the bad guy. I like the story story, but the name Cordero is a strange one. It's something you eat in Spanish. It's not a name for a person. At least not in Spain. Maybe in South America, men wouldn't mind mind to be called a goat/ lamb. Never mind me Barbara, I'm in a bad mood. Somebody stepped on my foot earlier on. Lol. Ulla:)))

Cordero is a common Hispanic name in the Texas area. Thank you for the kind review.

Here us means 'young lamb' and is a name of affection, as Jesus is a lamb.

I see, I was just puzzled. Thanks for letting me know. Hugs Ulla.

Barb,

Oh, no! I don't like Maggie. Whoever she is, I don't like the way she jumps in and tries to take over. The fact that she's trying to intimidate our MC just shows she has a bit less class than she may need in life. haha

Thanks!

Interesting chapter, Barbara. Wow, I thought fist were going to fly. And what woman gets so mad, she leaves her purse, or was that her lame excuse to get in. This chapter seems to be setting up a steamy conflict.

She left her purse at home. She really didn't want to get in. She doesn't trust men. She was beginning to trust Cord, then this happens. Thank you for the kind review.

Good story, although I think she over-reacted a bit. Better to stand her ground and demand an explanation. It seems as if Pat and Maggie are plotting together to ruin Cord's romance. This sentence is missing a word: . . . fir her (to) take . . . I would appreciate not to see so much space between paragraphs (suddenly encountering several in a row) as it is ruining my mouse finger. Looking forward to next installment.

As they say, true love never ran smooth. I think there's a conspiracy going on, this Pat seems like a pretty nasty type, and I'm not sure about Maggie, of course Alli is completely irrational, no thought at all, all emotion, which would be strange for a lawyer. Beautifully written, excellent episode, blessings Roy
Typo : Not only are you going (in) the wrong direction.

I enjoyed reading this chapter. Your presentation is well done, as I appreciate the extra spacing between dialogue. I find it an easier read. The photo works perfectly here and drew me in immediately. I also appreciate in your notes the update on future posts.
