This poem, He Said She Said, seems to set the marriage on a seesaw right off the bat. The idea of one-upmanship begins early and grows.

    In one sense; that being me. She never-ever disagrees. We haven't argued since she walked away six months into marriage stating if you want to argue, do it alone. Brilliant strategy. I've been happy forty-two years since, and I stayed with her knowing she was right. Anger comes from arguing not discussions. I wrote a follow up piece Bill, a day or two later "Comparing Love: Should it be done."
    It should be in my portfolio.

    I am thankful to find a rhythm. Since joining FS I have spent more time reviewing than writing. Not a good thing.

Unions need compromise for them to work and all too often one party will dominate the other and equality is the only way it can really work, a poignant discussion here, love Dolly x

Awesome. Love this poem. It has some of the qualities of the metaphysical poets. Its smart, it's sexy, it's a story in a poem and it has a great ending. I am voting for this.

This is a cute poem. Many years ago, this is what my husband and I would say. Now he has been gone for four years and four months. I miss those words. Thank you for writing this sweet and loving poem.

Don't they always win? LOL. No doubt, this is a well written, humorous poem. I liked how this poem reads, with the dialogue between the two. This Romance Poetry was very refreshing. Nice job.

    You should also know it was real. That is how I came to write this thinking I loved her more. Very subjective of me.
