Hello Ronni!
How have you been?
I am so pleased to read this magnificent post!
There is nothing so majestical as nature unleashed... pounding her drums, climbing endless crescendos, A light show unequaled by man...
There is a frisson of static in the air...a trace of ozone...
You've captured it all, and I wallow in the memories of such performances!
Encore!

Hi Karenina,
My oh my, such grand accolades and compliments...likely
too 'dangerous' for me to take a bow, or such avid acclaim
LOL..but presenting this as nature's storm venting with a
most boisterous and intrepid maestro conducting it, was
fun to try and explore. Thanks for your wondrous expressions
and glad you enjoyed!
I have been on and off here due to family losses to covid
and nephew to sudden heart attack...but, we carry on as indeed
we must. Thanks for inquiry!
I thought you had noted you were going to be off for and
unknow time; but glad to see you are still back!!! Need you here!
Best wishes, Ronni

I was on a hiatus while dealing with Covid myself. It has passed and I am back. So sorry to hear about your own family losses... Indeed it is what we must do--carry on!

Nice imagery of the storm that passed by. It seems like it could last forever and would not even dissipate at all. It is a great representation of Nature's performance, not a show but a performance nonetheless.

Hi Mickamus,
So pleased you enjoyed this presentation. It was indeed like a
storm that seemed to last forever. Reflecting on this one as
nature's musical orchestra, with a very annoyed and boisterous
maestro directing its frustrations and elevations, was a fun
try to do; not sure how it would fare out. Glad you liked the
imagery and shared your uplifting comments.
Have a terrific day, best wishes, Ronni

A lovely powerful poem for a powerful storm that seems to have been appreciated, watched, and lived vividly. I love storms and enjoyed this poem! I hope it was a rain that soaked a parched piece of land!

Hi Eugenette,
Thank you for your appreciative thoughts and comments on
this, so pleased you enjoyed the read, relating it to a musical
symphony orchestra in sound and effects was an imaginative
venture and fun to try. After 43 days of record high temps
107+...rain did indeed soak up our Ok. parched land with
a direly needed soaking! Amen! Thanks again for your fellow
rain appreciations, and relating to the poem so perceptively!
Have a marvelous day....
Best wishes, Ronni

Your poem is excellent in every respect. It vividly describes how each element that makes a storm builds on and blends with the others. I too am a fascinated observer of such scenes.

This is well written and the picture is amazing. I like the metaphor of the storm as a symphony performance, and all the musical terms you included. You've described the thunder and lightning beautifully, followed by the downpour. I'm sure you enjoyed your front-row seat. Blessings. Carol

Hi Carol,
Thank you for your gracious and generous compliments on
this one, and so pleased you enjoyed the read. Imaginative in
expression, comparing nature's symphony sounds and effects
was indeed an enjoyable front row seat. I used to be afraid
of rain and thunder storms; the musical part of it helped in
easing those fears away.
Thank you especially for the extra star; sincerely appreciated!
Have a gorgeous day! Best wishes, Ronni
