This romance story, A Night We Shant Forget, is a funny tale of two folks who initially seemed like mismatches, but found love. Well told.

Excellent entry for the Romance Story writing prompt contest.
Interesting love story of how opposites attract. He being so tall and she so short. The shared beer helped get rid of the inhibitions and all turned out fine.
Well done

what a story; they do say that opposites attract one another. Good thing she did not get mad at you when you fell over her. She must have a lot of faith that she would be alright.

Well you look like a mighty handsome couple, Mr. Horonzy.
I have to admit, stumbling over and knocking out your wife-to-be is a truly original first meeting. She must have been an understanding soul though, as you picked her up very gallantly and resuscitated her.
This is a most original romance story which worked, with nary a mention of romance. :)
A love story, non-the-less. well done.

Opposites do attract and I believe there a lot of us who will attest to it with stories much like yours. You told your love story with humor and didn't get overly sappy. Well done.

Hi Tom, I enjoyed your story a lot, and found your introduction about how you were opposites in every way expressed with wit and humour. Best wishes for your entry in the contest.

A simple story of happenstance. The telling is romantic without being sappy. The words are not purple as so often happens with love stories. The only contrived part was the complete opposite which was a bit corny.
A nice read. Thanks for sharing.

You are welcome.

You did it again. You have a great love story. And yes, opposites do attract. My husband and I were different as day and night. We fought, we loved, we divorced, we remarried during forty-eight years of marriage. If, I could do it again, I would. May he rest in peace. And, again, keep up the great work.

I enjoyed reading your story of the attraction of opposites leading to a happily long-lasting marriage. There is plenty of humour and lots of scene-setting details in your well written story. Very enjoyable.

An interesting, and somewhat whimsical story about someone finding their opposite, in a funny kind of unexpected way.
It piqued my interest enough to complete my reading of the story.
The imagery was pretty well-done, I could picture both of them and the almost-fiasco that occurred
