This was greatly done, Gypsy. I really appreciated the time you spent on your narrative notes providing not only the notes on Thich Nhat Hanh and Sijo form with a break down on the three areas. Your mention of the Lotus flower and the Buddha Mantras were beautiful. Your words did capture a Theme, Elaboration and a Counter Theme. It was a wonderful tribute to Nhat. The lotus flower is part of Buddhist legends as they say that when Buddha first started to walk, under each step a lotus flower grew. That's why you might see lotus festivals at Buddhist temples.
