I like this story. So many parents try to force their children to excel in the sports or other interests that they are in. But each one has their own gifts and should be encouraged to follow them. I like how you worked in writing on Fan Story as a way to be recognized.

Ha ha ha, you made me smile here Lisa and taking part on Fanstory does encourage us to be glued to our computers, but I have a rule that I have to exercise before hand and only when it is done can I go on the computer, otherwise I would end up like Belinda! A fun post Lisa, love Dolly x

Love this, LisaMay! Good for Belinda. My neighbor recently introduced herself to someone. She told them their family sport is reading. I daresay many of us here are more inclined to sit quietly at our computers than go play a game of tennis.

That's a surprise ending that would appeal to Fanstorians! A competitive streak can show up in other things than just sports. But good physical activity could probably help with writing, too! Best wishes in the contest!
