Once again, I am so impressed by your positive attitude. I'm sorry for the disappointments and hurdles you've faced, but I have no doubt you'll jump them. Just the fact that you chose such an active verb lets me know your head is in the right place, and I have no doubt you'll reach your goals.
As always, you speak with such honesty and fearlessness, and with such optimism and positive outlook. Whenever I start to feel sorry for myself, I just think of you, all you've faced and all you've achieved, and it gives me confidence and gets my chin off the ground.

Your story about your experience is heartfelt and well written. I went through a similar experience when I had a total hip replacement. Keep on and never give up, better days are coming. Sometimes it's hard keeping body and soul together but one day at a time is the key. All the best, Laura.

Thank you, Pam. This is a wonderfully detailed and comprehensive review and I appreciate all the thought you put into it.
I would like to think that I am the praying mantis who is speaking to the much larger bird. I was hoping someone would put together the image of what is going on in my life. Things are falling into place yet the future still seems uncertain and fear and impatience come into play as I keep renegotiating my life. As you say there is always something that comes up every once in a while. Thanks for your good wishes and I will take care and try to have a good week.

This was a wonderful piece of writing, Jesse. I loved the picture because it did seem to a negotiation between the bird and the grasshopper. I am not sure if this was true or not but it was very well done. Perseverance and determination will definitely get the job done. Good luck wishes to you, Jesse and David.

Good morning, Diane! Thanks for the five-star review and for the suggestions of edits for this piece. I will take them under consideration. I kind of like the run-on sentence it emphasizes the strength of conviction that I feel. And as for the PACE program, I don't want to get into the details of the program since I am turning it down. It is best to just move on! I will take you up on your suggestion that I go for knee surgery. I may not dance the polka, but I will hike up and down nature trails!

Thanks, Wendy, for all of your support and encouraging interest in my life. A lot will happen in a few days and weeks but it will take another year or two before I will be able to walk unaided.
