So you were in the marathon anyway, dashing like a madman down Madison Ave chasing after your blind date. It must happen quite often that the clock change catches people out - you've used the situation to create an entertaining story with some humour. It sounds like the date turned out a success, so the happy ending is appreciated.

Thank you for the "Excellent" review and encouragement. One of my sons ran in and completed the Marathon this year and going to NYC
to cheer him on was part of the inspiration for this story.

What a cute lighthearted story! I do not know much about New York, is the marathon a symbol of the time change or such? I enjoyed it but did not understand the significance of the marathon in the story. I also really enjoyed the repetition of the first and last line of the story.

Charming story! So clever--it brings to mind numerous amusing SNAFUs that ensue from time change. Where I went to college, hundreds of clocks had been set the wrong way. Wonderful tale--this may be a winner.

What a fun story. I enjoyed reading your story, it is well written and the story is very vivid. I can image Bill forgetting to set the clock back, I think a lot of us can relate. The ending was fun and added some amusement. Thanks for sharing
