I had no idea there are so many forms of Zionism. But, I guess, there are many variations of almost everything that we'll never know unless we or someone like you puts in the time to study, learn, and share them. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Brett, I'm impressed. You have really done your homework. I've read about this since I was a young girl. I did it mostly in an effort to understand why the Jews had always been chased and persecuted throughout history. It all started when my parents took me to Auswitz as a young child. I had to try to understand. To balance your essay, I think it's important to mention that many Jews were opposed to Zionism out of fear to bring attention to themselves. I'm looking forward to reading on. Ulla:)))

This is amazing information that I was unaware of. I had no idea there were so many differing views and interpretations of Zionism. It seems for the Jewish people, the emphasis is more on culture than on religion. It is amazing to me that since they have been so scattered throughout the world, the race still remains intact for most part. It would seem, over the years, they would have been absorbed by other races. There were a few Jewish people in my own background that were assembled and gave up the nationality.
